LiFePO4 batteries are designed to be maintenance-free, making them a superior choice for those reliant on consistent power. Unlike lead-acid batteries, which can be heavy and cumbersome, lithium-ion technology significantly reduces weight—less than half that of traditional lead-acid batteries—while greatly enhancing performance and capacity.

Lead-acid batteries contain substantial amounts of lead, which, if improperly disposed of, can lead to environmental contamination. In contrast, lithium batteries are recognized globally as green energy solutions, as they do not contain any toxic or hazardous materials. Their exceptional durability allows for easy usage in both residential and professional settings, as well as for outdoor needs.

Charging Recommendations

For optimal performance, we recommend using a dedicated LiFePO4 charger to fully charge the battery. While existing lead-acid battery chargers (wet, AGM, or gel) can also be applied, they might not achieve full charging efficiency. Lithium-ion batteries are capable of being discharged entirely without sustaining damage; however, immediate recharging after discharge is recommended. We suggest limiting the discharge to 80-90% depth of discharge (DOD) to prevent battery disconnection by the Battery Management System (BMS).

Our 12V LiFePO4 batteries contain no liquid, allowing for safe installation in various locations without the risk of leaks.

Connection and Rechargeability

Batteries can be connected in series or parallel; when in series, up to four identical batteries can be combined. Charging can be carried out quickly at 3A, with heavy-duty output supporting continuous discharges of 5A and pulse discharges of 3C.
